What does SIA bring to eligible projects ?
SIA is supported by media groups, impact influential organisations and international sponsors.
SIA awards are presented during conferences in Paris, Frankurt and other European cities in the presence of investors, media and impact influencers. These are excellent opportunities to engage a new audience with the impact of your project.

Award process
You will be asked to fill in an application questionnaire on the SIA digital platform. You may submit several projects but will need to complete a separate questionnaire for each one.
A screening of all eligible projects will be ensured by AIR researchers and the nominees will be submitted to the SIA advisory board.
All award winning projects will be offered a video pitch realised by SIA and presented during all SIA conferences. SIA Award winning projects will be invited to all SIA conferences.
Award application fee: 800€*
* 50% of the application fee will be reimbursed to not selected projects.
* Free for projects brought by SIA Academy leaders and SIA conferences sponsors.
Another “communication option" (budget 2.000€) is proposed to impact projects looking for large visibility towards the impact community via a booth on SIA Live conferences, a video produced by SIA, an interview on SIA TV and communication via SIA local media partners. Some impact criteria will be required though not as strict as for SIA Awards.

Project Eligibility Criteria
How do you know if you are the leader of an eligible project?
You must have led an Impact project that fulfills the three SIA criteria (Impact – Involvement – Replicability) for more than a year.
Involvement : Effectiveness of engagement with stakeholders and local communities (human impact).
Protection of personal data
Each of the parties to this agreement is responsible for complying with its obligations under the laws and regulations in force applicable to the processing of personal data, and in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (the “GDPR”).
In particular, each Party acknowledges and guarantees to the other Party that the personal data sent or brought to its knowledge within the framework of this agreement have been validly collected from the data subjects and are processed in strict compliance with the requirements of the GDPR and the rights of the data subjects.
The parties undertake in this respect to process the personal data received by the other party only for the purposes described in this contract. The parties further acknowledge that they have duly informed their counterparts of the purpose for which their personal data have been collected, of the duration for which such data will be stored, and of their rights under Chapter III of the GDPR.
Finally, The parties undertake to take all necessary and appropriate precautions to preserve and ensure the protection of personal data transmitted to or by the other party, and to ensure the security of the processing of personal data carried out, jointly or otherwise, by the parties in the performance of this contract, in particular to avoid personal data from being distorted, damaged, destroyed or accessed by unauthorized third parties.
